End of Tenancy Cleaning

What to expect when booking an end of tenancy clean:

  • Mopping floors and tiles
  • Vacuuming and steaming carpets and rugs
  • Removing cobwebs from walls, ceiling and skirting boards
  • Cleaning windows, doors and handles
  • Dusting and polishing surfaces, such as tables and sideboards
  • Removing lime scale from sinks, showers and bathtubs
  • Cleaning and polishing taps and other water fittings
  • Scrubbing and disinfecting the toilet
  • Removing mould from walls and tiles
  • Wiping down kitchen cabinets and countertops
  • Dusting and clearing out cupboards, wardrobes and drawers
  • Cleaning all appliances (kettles, toaster and microwave etc)
  • Degreasing the hob, oven and all components
  • Emptying and cleaning the fridge and freezer
  • Cleaning out large appliances like washing machines or dishwashers
  • Emptying and cleaning bins (inside and outside ones)
  • Sweeping and tidying outside areas

End of Tenancy Checklist

  • Landlords or their letting agents will pick up dirty furnishings upon their inspections. We carefully wipe, vacuum and clean all furnishings.
  • Wipe and polish tables, countertops and other worktop surfaces
  • We make sure to remove all fingerprints and marks
  • Look out for oil stains
  • We take sofa cushions outside and pound them until the dust is removed
  • Vacuum the sofa with and without its cushions on
  • Remove cobwebs from ceilings and corners
  • Dust reachable surfaces – wardrobes, shelving and cupboards
  • Wipe accumulated dust and dirt from top of doors
  • Wipe accumulated dust from top of picture frames
  • Wipe dirt off curtain rails
  • Properly vacuum and dust both sides of curtains and blinds
  • Wipe and polish mirrors, pictures and other wall hangings
  • Wipe off dust from skirting boards and decorations
  • Dust off all light fittings and lampshades
  • Clean and polish metal ornaments
  • Wipe and polish switches
  • Remove dirty marks from walls
  • Carefully clean power sockets and extension cords
  • Mop hard floors and laminate
  • Dust the lampshades
  • Dust all cobwebs near the ceiling and above any picture frames with long feather duster
  • Dust and polish all bedroom furniture such as nightstand dresser/ bedframe desk

  • Ensure under the bed is cleared of dirt and vacuum
  • Clean all skirting boards
  • Clean windows, frames and handles

  • Remove hard water stains
  • Remove lime scale if present
  • Scrub and rinse soap dispensers

  • Scrub and rinse accumulated dirt from the toothbrush area
  • Clean extractor fans

  • Clean inside cupboards, drawers and shelving
  • Wash and polish sinks and shine taps
  • Remove accumulated lime scale
  • De-grease and polish wall tiles
  • Remove mould growth between grout
  • Scrub gas rings and gas control knobs
  • Clean microwaves inside and out
  • Clean out the fridge/freezer
  • Clean the washing machine inside and out

  • Stack and arrange cutlery, utensils and other dining accessories

  • Wipe down radiators if applicable and accessible
  • Remove dust from plugs and light switches
  • Vacuum, and mop floors.
  • Move all furnishings to vacuum underneath
