Deep cleaning refers to the process which goes above and beyond a daily clean and ensures that all areas are cleaned extensively to maintained and ensure good hygiene. Deep cleaning is different from a regular standard cleaning which makes the processing longer than when doing regular cleaning. It covers areas which aren’t traditionally covered by a regular or spring clean

Deep Cleaning Checklist

It is essential to first tidy up priory to booking a deep cleaning as the cleaning team may not have an idea what to throw away and what to just rearrange.

 All aspect of dusting must be carried out before polishing

  • Ensure you remove anything that doesn’t belong in the lounge
  • Dust crown moulding, wall corners, and floor moulding
  • Dust ceiling fans.
  • Clean lights and wash light globes.
  • Dust lamps.
  • Dust edges of wall hangings, mirrors, and pictures.
  • Clean windows and window sills.
  • Remove scuff marks from doors and mouldings.
  • Dust electronics.
  • Sanitise remote controls and electronics devices with antibacterial wipes..
  • Move furniture to vacuum underneath and take out all cushions to dust  in between and replace back

Vacuum all carpet area and mop where applicable

All aspect of dusting must be carried out before polishing

  • Dust ceiling, corners, and upper and lower crown mouldings.
  • Dust skirting and sills, before cleaning the windows.

Vacuum carpet and mop where applicable

  • Clean air vents from the ceiling.
  • Clean and sanitise light switches and fixtures.
  • Clean and sanitise toothbrush holders.
  • Clean mirror.
  • Scrub the bathtub and/or shower.

  • Scrub and disinfect toilet, including around base, under seat and around hinges.
  • Wipe down cabinets, knobs, towel racks and toilet paper holder.
  • Clean and sanitise counter tops.
  • Clean, organize and de-clutter bathroom closet.
  • Wash trash can (inside and out)
  • Clean bathroom door frame
  • Mop and scrub floors.
  • Clean the microwave. (inside and outside)
  • Deep clean the dishwasher.
  • Clean inside the refrigerator and organize.
  • Clean and organize the freezer.
  • clean the oven (inside and outside)
  • Clean the hood vent and change filter if needed.
  • Clean stove top burners.
  • Clean kitchen cabinets and drawers. (inside and outside cabinets)
  • Clean coffee maker.
  • Clean and sanitise all appliances, such as toaster, blender, air fryer.
  • Clean under the sink and eliminate the unnecessary.
  • Sanitise all door knobs, light fixtures and pulls.
  • Vacuum / mop and deep clean the floors.
